As I wrote in the earlier blog, I had a friend pass away a few days ago. 20 years of life, and he is gone. That is unbelievable and incomprehensible to me. I want to tell every person who means the slightest bit to me how much they mean to me. It’s an extremely overwhelming and humbling feeling thinking that any day could be your last and if you don’t live like it’s your last then it’s almost a waste of time. It has been hard to focus on anything these past few days and I have three tests in three days! Not focusing and hard classes is not a good combination!
There are two things I know that I need to start doing more with my life: showing those in it that I love them, and serving every person I come into contact with. I had a conversation with a friend who said that we cannot find ourselves if we are too busy serving others and serving our Lord, and I disagree. The perfect place to look for yourself is in others and what you can do to serve them.
